Two women charged with Prostitution and two men charged with Patronizing Prostitution

Two women were arrested and charged with Prostitution, and Promoting Prostitution, Friday in Cool Springs.

Acting on a tip that prostitution might be taking place in the hotel at 680 Bakers Bridge Avenue, Franklin Police Flex Officers initiated surveillance at 2:30 that afternoon. It did not take long for officers to observe traffic in and out of the hotel consistent with prostitution.

Edith Massie and Charly Lewis, of Illinois, were taken into custody, charged with Prostitution and Promoting Prostitution. Massie was released on a $17,500 bond on Saturday; Lewis remains jailed on a $17,500 bond. Officers seized Massie's 2007 GMC Yukon at the time of her arrest.

Tennessee law requires police to issue a misdemeanor citation (ticket), in lieu of a custodial arrest, to certain offenders. Officers cited 26-year old John D. Proctor of Eagleville and 41-year old Cornell Creciun III of Nolensville, TN with Patronizing Prostitution, and released them.

All four suspects will have the opportunity to see one another again - in court, on 05/14/2015 at 1:00 pm.
