The organizers of the 37th annual Uncle Dave Macon Days festival are looking for volunteers for various tasks throughout the three-day old-time music event. This year's festival is July 11-13.

A workshop will be held at 5:30 p.m. June 19 at Cannonsburgh Historic Village, 312 S. Front St. Volunteers are necessary for the festival to run smoothly, and approximately 500 volunteers work each year registering competitors, taking tickets at the gates, assisting judges, assisting in setup and breakdown of vendor booths and more.
