United Way Hires New Associate in Cannon County

United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties has announced the addition of Faye Northcutt-Knox to the team as a part-time Cannon County Associate. Northcutt-Knox will be a member of the United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties staff, but her office will be located in Cannon County in the Senior Center.  

“Faye’s responsibilities will involve advancing our efforts in Cannon County, to include community impact, resource development, brand awareness, and public relations,” said Meagan Flippin, President and CEO of the local United Way.   “Her expertise and skills will be a tremendous asset to our team.”  

Northcutt-Knox comes to United Way most recently from @Home Care where she served as the Director of Operations/Marketing Outreach liaison. Her previous experience also includes serving as an Account Executive for Alive Hospice; working as the Special Events Assistant to the U.S. Ambassador in Lima, Peru; serving as Director of Marketing and Communication/Physician Recruitment at Columbia Southern Tennessee Medical Center; working as Marketing Manager for the Nashville City Club; and serving as an assistant to both Tennessee House Speaker Ned Ray McWherter and U.S. Congressman Bill Boner.  

Northcutt-Knox’s volunteer leadership has included serving as the President of the Cannon County Chamber of Commerce and the President of the Arts Center for Cannon County. She has also been an active volunteer for United Way. Northcutt-Knox received her Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University.
