United Way to Benefit from Reeves-Sain Flu Shot Program

For the second year in a row, a portion of every flu shot given by Reeves-Sain Drug Store will benefit the United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties and will be invested in the local community.

 “Reeves-Sain is a leader in offering immunizations in Middle Tennessee.  For more than a decade, our pharmacists have been certified as immunization specialists and are knowledgeable in regards to the latest vaccines available.  We have offered flu shots and other vaccines to the community, while also supporting specific organizations that are aligned with our mission," said Lori Sain Smith, Vice President of Retail Operation and Public Relations for Reeves-Sain Family of Medical Services.
 
Smith also commented on why Reeves-Sain chose United Way to partner with saying, “We chose United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties as a community partner for this flu season.  Locally, it is incredible to see continued growth of both community support and of programs offered.  Nationally, United Way is regarded as a highly reputable organization that positively impacts the lives of so many.  I am honored to be a part of this impressive work.”
 
To receive a flu shot, stop by Reeves-Sain Drug Store on Memorial Blvd., Monday through Friday from 8:00 a. m. to 6:00 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome. Reeves-Sain will also provide vaccinations on site for area businesses with 15 or more employees. They are still taking companies or organizations that are interested in providing this service.
