Stewarts Creek High School in Smyrna will open in August of this year serving grades 9-12. The Rutherford County Board of Education finalized zoning for the school on December 4, 2012 after holding 10 public meetings to discuss enrollment and gather feedback from parents.

Stewarts Creek High was approved for construction by Rutherford County Commissioners in 2011. The cost was $50-million.

Stewarts Creek High School is located on Red Hawk Parkway in Smyrna and sits on the same campus as Stewarts Creek Elementary School and Stewarts Creek Middle School, which both opened in 2006. The high school mascot will be the Red Hawks, and the school colors will be red, black and grey.
