You may recall the news story from 2012 about a body found in a vacant home at 907 Southeast Broad Street. We now have an update on that story. 44-Year old Michael Edward Tusie was charged with killing 46-year old Ellis Wayne Smith.

MPD Sgt. Kyle Evans says that during questioning, Tusie reportedly provided specific information that confirmed he was responsible for the murder of Ellis Smith.

Again, the trial will be on Dec. 8, 2014.
