UPDATE: 30 Year Old Murfreesboro Suspect Accused of Tying Teen Victim Up and Raping Her After Beating Her

GRAPHIC: We have an update on a 30 year old man who was charged with "Aggravated Rape" in Murfreesboro this past January.

Joshua J. Reeves lives in an apartment on Saint Andrews Drive and was arrested after serious allegations arose involving a teenager. Reeves was investigated by Murfreesboro Police SVU Detective Tommy Roberts on January 23, 2019.

Roberts in his report (Graphic):

"Investigation showed that the victim, a 17 year old female, was at Mr. Joshua Reeves residence. The two of them got into an altercation and Mr. Joshua Reeves hit the victim multiple times with a closed fist. Mr. Joshua Reeves also kicked the victim multiple times. Mr. Joshua Reeves then tied the victims hands up, put a bag over her head and raped her."

Reeves was charged with one count of "Aggravated Rape" and one count of "Aggravated Domestic Assault." The suspect will now see his case go before a Rutherford County Grand Jury where more charges could be handed down.

Reeves is currently free after posting a $155,000 bond on March 2, 2019.
