On Thursday morning (February 01, 2018) around 9, there was a domestic altercation that occurred next to InTown Suites on Old Fort Parkway next to the Stones River. Police say that a third party attempted to intervene and was stabbed multiple times.

The stabbing was investigated by the Murfreesboro Police Violent Crimes Unit. Authorities say that a 30 year old homeless man named Timothy Travis Daily has been arrested in connection with the assault. Warrants show that Daily is charged with Aggravated Assault and Simple Assault-Domestic.

Daily remains behind bars at this time at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center in Murfreesboro.
