A convicted murderer from Rutherford County will once again appear in a local courtroom later this month. Jewell Moses Bess will be in court on November 28th to appeal his case.

Former District Attorney Bill Whitesell explains...

In addition to the murder of his wife, Bess was previously convicted for the rape of a child under the age of 13 in 1997.

Today, Bess is 67-years of age. As it stands now, Bess will be 94 years old when he is eligible for parole.
