As Murfreesboro Police continue to investigate a double shooting on Wenlon Drive, we now know the identities of those involved.
Sergeant Kyle Evans first told NewsRadio WGNS of the shooting Friday night, shortly after it occurred around six o'clock at 1213 Wenlon.
Officer Grant Perry was first on the scene and reports Rutherford County EMS were treating 26-year old Josh Moore, who sustained a serious gunshot wound. He was taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center for treatment.
While detectives arrived on the scene to investigate, it was discovered a second person with a gunshot wound was brought by private vehicle to St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. Corey Lillard, age 37, was identified as the second person shot in the incident.
Detectives are still piecing together the events of what happened.

Murfreesboro police responded to a shooting call shortly after 6:00 o'clock Friday evening (8/15/2017) at 1213 Wenlon Drive.
Sergeant Kyle Evans told NewsRadio WGNS that when officers arrived, they found one person seriously injured. Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services transported the wounded victim to the ER.
A short time after that, another person with a gunshot wound was brought by private vehicle to the regular entrance to St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. Nurses rushed the second injured person from the regular entrance to the Emergency Room.
Evans noted, "This person is related to the Wenlon Drive incident."
Murfreesboro Police say that the case is still under investigation.
