We have more news on the Tuesday morning accident that occurred on I-24 in Murfreesboro around 8AM.

The Highway Patrol reports that 27-year old Joshua Purrington from LaVergne swerved to miss another car when he drove into the lane of GMC Yukon being driven by 37-year old Timothy Goodrich from Murfreesboro. The two vehicles then collided with a semi-truck being driven by 30-year old John Willis. The semi then flipped over coming to a rest across all lanes of the west bound side of the interstate.

All three motorist were injured in the crash, but the extent of those injuries has not been released.
