UPDATE: Kirkwood Ave. Man Convicted on Sexual Related Charges Against 9 Year Old

Jonathan Ramirez

Jonathan Ramirez, who just turned 31 this month, was convicted of sexual battery and sexual battery by an authority figure this earlier this year. The case was originally investigated by the Murfreesboro Police Department.

Detective Tommy Roberts reports being referred by the Department of Children's Services in 2017 after Ramirez' nine-year old step daughter reported to her mom she'd been molested.

Ramirez was interviewed September 28th and according to the report, stated he had touched the victim four times inappropriately.

Earlier this year Ramirez was sentenced to spend the next 3 years in prison. He has also been ordered by the courts to submit DNA for the purpose of a DNA Analysis and HIV testing. He will also have to follow all requirements of the Tennessee Sexual Offender Registry.
