The juvenile who was arrested after a shooting took place in LaVergne on Monday night was in court on Wednesday (9/14/16). However, due to his age we will not be able to release any information on his case other than he was charged with aggravated assault, filing a false report, and reckless endangerment.

WGNS can however release that the person who was shot by the juvenile was listed as being in critical condition on Tuesday. On Wednesday morning, the victim's condition improved to stable. Keep in mind that the suspect was also shot, but his wound did not require extensive medical help.

The shooting took place on Monday night in La Vergne at the intersection of Murfreesboro Road and Stones River Road. It's still not clear now what led to the shooting or the car wreck that was also reported at the intersection.
