It never proves to be a good situation when your toddlers are found outside and you are inside, especially when the children in question are only one and two years of age.

Murfreesboro Police wrote in an arrest report that they arrived at Town Square Apartments where, “There was a one year old found outside in a diaper playing in a puddle. This was a particularly cold morning, approximately 44 degrees.” Detective Knox who filed the report went on to state, “There was also a 2 year old outside that was unsupervised.”

When police got to the apartment in question, they had to knock on doors to find the mother of the two children. They eventually located 21 Year old Amber A. Warnack who had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance to be medically cleared before being taken to jail. Police didn’t have to dig too deep to figure out what may have gone array. The report states, “She stated after she had put her children to bed she did a line of cocaine at approximately 10:30 PM, 4-18-13.” That being said, the police report shows that the children were found outside the following day at 10:30 AM on 4-19-13.

The Department of Children Services met with the suspect at the police station and conducted a drug screen. The report states, “Ms. Warnack did test positive for illegal narcotics.” As a result, she was charged with Reckless Endangerment in a child abuse situation.
