UPDATE: Possible Arrest Made in Shooting on East Main Street

We have another new update on the reported shooting that occurred this past Friday night in Murfreesboro near the MTSU campus on East Main Street. WGNS has confirmed that 26-year old Teandrius Devon Womack has been arrested and charged with aggravated kidnapping, aggravated robbery, aggravated assault and theft. According to the report filed by a Murfreesboro officer, “It was believed that Mr. Womack was involved in a shooting on East Main Street on August 30, 2013.”

The shooting victim was hit in the lower abdomen while at an apartment at 1430 East Main Street. The victim told detectives that he was shot when someone came to his door and “Started shooting.” Police have not released the details of the case or why the victim was shot.

Womack was booked into the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center where he is currently being held under a $100,000 bond.
