WGNS has more information on the story involving a Murfreesboro cab driver who was stabbed in the neck this past April. Court records show the suspect in the case will appear in court on the morning of Halloween.

Victim Nicholas Kennedy of City Cab told police he picked up Ryan Yount at the Murfreesboro Motel and took him to the Blackman area. That's when Kennedy reports the 18-year old suspect pulled a knife out and forced him to drive to Northfield Boulevard. After driving to that area, Yount allegedly took just under 90-dollars in fare money from Kennedy and cut his neck with the knife. After that the suspect took off on foot.

The Rutherford County Sheriff's Department K-9 division helped MPD in the search for Yount, who was captured in a mobile home park off of Wenlon Drive.

Yount, of Cannonwood Court in Murfreesboro, faces charges of attempted first degree murder, vandalism, filing a false report and especially aggravated robbery. He's jailed at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center and being held in lieu of a 500-thousand dollars bond. He will appear in court to file his plea on the morning of Halloween, October 31st.
