The charge of rape was filed against a Murfreesboro man on Saturday afternoon. 22-year old Hampton Poore of Daly Drive was arrested and taken to the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office where he was booked into the jail under a $50,000 bond. Poore will appear in court in the near future where more details of the case will be released.

A second man was also arrested on a charge of rape over the past few days in Rutherford County. 22-year old Phillip Shook (pictured below) was charged with rape and booked into the local jail on Friday afternoon. The suspect's home address was listed as the Regal Inn in Murfreesboro. Shook was placed under a $75,000 bond. 

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has documented on their website that 17 convicted sex offenders are currently living at 2025 South Church Street, which is the address of the Regal Inn (as of 6/2/13). Of the 17, 13 of them are classified as being "VIOLENT." No other single address in Murfreesboro has as many sex offenders as the address of 2025 S. Church St.
