That was Lisa Mitchell, Director of Read to Succeed. She recently spoke to WGNS' Scott Walker about the annual Bee that will be held at World Outreach church on Tuesday night, November 12th.

This year the event will be catered by Peter D's Restaurant. You can reserve a table by calling 738-READ. That is 738-7323.

Two of the main sponsors for the spelling bee will have company employees spelling on the 12th! Nissan will be well represented by Susan Brennan who spelled in the bee last year. She told Mitchell that she aims to win this time around. Also in the bee is Ross Womack with Ingram Content Group. As we reported earlier, Don Clayton from Ingram won the entire bee in 2012.

Other major sponsors include the Adams-Coggin Foundation, Bridgestone Americas, the Jennings and Rebecca Jones Foundation, Palm International and Kious, Rogers, Barger, Holder and Kios - PLLC.
