(MURFREESBORO) More on the 42-year old Murfreesboro woman who was shot while driving her Tesla car on Veterans Parkway near Kingdom Drive around 11:15AM this past Thursday morning (4/23/2020).

She was flown by LifeFlight helicopter to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. While first responders were waiting for the chopper to arrive, paramedics performed first aid and stabilized the wounded female.

Police talked with several witnesses, but feel there may be more information. The public is encouraged to phone CrimeStoppers at 615-893-STOP (7867). Murfreesboro Police Central Intelligence Division (CID) Lt. Todd Sparks, reiterated, ""We believe she was shot by a suspect in another vehicle."
