Thanks to an automated kiosk, long-lines to renew your license plates are becoming a thing of the past.

Rutherford County Clerk Lisa Crowell said the first machine is being tested at the county office building at 319 North Maple Street.

Again, with the new kiosk, you can renew your vehicle license tag in about a minute. Again, it is located in the license plate office at the Rutherford County Clerk's office at 319 North Maple Street.
