The deadline to enter the 2013 Run United 5K, hosted by The Avenue Murfreesboro to benefit United Way, is Wednesday. Registration is 35-dollars per person. Registration is available at active-dot-com. Teams of 10 can register for 250-dollars by contacting the United Way at 893-7303. This year's event will include a one-mile fun run. Registration is 15-dollars. There will also be a kid's station with entertainment in the central park area at the Avenue. All who register before Wednesday will receive a t-shirt. The proceeds from the race will be invested into the local community through the United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties.
