Vacuum cleaner thefts are on the rise… Yes, you heard us correctly, vacuum cleaner thefts. Three white males entered the Lowes store on Old Fort Parkway on Monday and walked out with three Dyson vacuum cleaners. The three thieves disabled the anti-theft device that was attached to each vacuum and walked out the front door. The Dyson vacuums are valued between $300 and $600 each.

A video surveillance camera in the Lowes parking lot captured the suspects leaving. A police report shows that detectives were able to record the license plate number on the SUV the subjects left in. The three culprits are also suspected of being involved in other vacuum cleaner thefts at several other Lowes stores in Middle Tennessee.
