What appeared to be caused by the spinning out of motorcycle tires left ruts in the golf course grass at the City of Murfreesboro Bloomfield Links golf course. The damage was at one of the holes on the course.

Murfreesboro Director of Golf Tracy Wilkins told Murfreesboro Police that the damage would cost over $1,000 to repair.

The motorcycle tracks appear to have come from a rider who crossed over to the course via Overall Creek Bridge. Muddy or dirt tracks were left behind by the rider or riders.

The Bloomfield Links course includes 6 holes and is located on William Hale Drive. The course opened in 2013 and is designed to be a training course for both adults and children. It is located behind Fortress Rosecrans and the Thompson Lane overpass.

Wilkins told police the golf course aims to take further security matters into consideration to better protect the course. A special watch by police is now in effect at the course.
