The Old Fort Golf Course has been vandalized again. Sometime between the hours of 8pm Wednesday and 6 o'clock Thursday morning, someone tampered with fuel pumps at the maintenance shed, causing a fire.

Golf Director Marty McCurry told Murfreesboro Police the suspect or suspects drained fuel out of the pumps onto the ground and set it on fire. Fortunately, only the grass around the shed was burned. However, it could have caused an explosion, which would have destroyed the shed.

Murfreesboro Fire and Rescue was called to determined the scene was safe. There are no know suspects at this point in the investigation.
