A missing persons rally was held in Shelbyville on Saturday evening. A vigil was held in front of the Bedford County Courthouse to honor six Middle Tennessee persons who are currently missing. Of the six cases, one has strong ties to Rutherford County.

Bedford County teacher Shelly Mook went missing in 2011 when her car was found abandoned and on fire in a field off the Manchester Highway in Rutherford County. Prior to going missing, Mook moved to Murfreesboro, but never had a chance to settle into her new apartment. Throughout the case her ex-husband has been questioned by authorities numerous times, but yet clues to her disappearance are scarce.
