Waffle House Shooting Suspect Had Local Job for One Day

The man in custody, suspected in the mass shooting at Waffle House in Antioch, spent all of one day on the job for a La Vergne employer.

CraneWorks, located on Industrial Boulevard at Waldron Road in La Vergne, said in a statement Reinking was "designated to work on a probationary basis" and went on to say "did not work in any sensitive position nor did he work in a position of authority."

He worked there last Monday and didn't return to work his second day and was fired. The statement went further to mention the company "had no reason to know or suspect that he was mentally unstable or capable of committing these senseless crimes."
