Murfreesboro Cash Mob is holding a Cash Mob Saturday, November 22nd.

Not sure what a Cash Mob is? Cash mobs, are a relatively new type of flash mob, designed to support local businesses. The Cash Mob introduces the community to a local and deserving merchants or events, in order to show appreciation, thanks, and support to a small business or event that has endured the daily challenges in order to remain a vital part of the community.

Participates are invited to meet and do a specific action, via social media or text messages. In this case, Murfreesboro Cash Mob attendees are informed of the monthly event via Facebook, Twitter and Email posts.

This month the Murfreesboro Cash Mob will show their support for a 44 year old locally owned and operated family business, Jones Car Wash at 1103 Memorial Blvd by purchasing a car wash or gift card on November 22nd, between the hours of Noon- 4:00.

This is the third cash mob, according to organizer Kimberly Honeycutt. The first two cash mobs were held at Holden Hardware and Slick Pig BBQ. The Cash Mob Motto: We each do a little. We all do a lot.
