If you have just eaten, you may want to avoid this story. A woman in Murfreesboro opened a refreshing can of V-8, drank a few sips of it and then set it aside to do some work. When she later returned to the same can she took another swig of the drink only to find that the taste had dramatically changed several hours later.

According to a Murfreesboro Police Report, the juice tasked "rancid." The woman poured the remainder of the juice out and that was when she found what appeared to be flesh hanging inside the bottom of the can. While the report does not specify the flesh was human or animal, it did clearly state, "What was removed was a large piece of what appears to be skin."

WGNS spoke to the woman who had this stranger drink encounter on Thursday and she told us that the skin was turned into the police department. Officer Womack placed the skin into the evidence room for safe keeping. The victim told us that she called the manufacturer of the juice and they told her the skin was likely not skin at all. The company claimed it was mold of some kind.

We thought we would post a photo of the item that was found in the V-8 can and let you decide what you think it may be.
