Camp fees for Monday through Friday are $75 per week for the camp hours of 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Early drop-off is available starting at 7:00 a.m. and later pick-up until 5:30 p.m. for $10 per week, each.

"The city summer camp program is an energetic, creative and rewarding experience for children who have completed kindergarten to those who have just completed fifth grade," said Events Coordinator Julie Wilson. "The camp will be held in the gym at Roy Waldron Elementary School, which provides a weekday lunch through the Summer Feeding Program."

According to the Rutherford County Schools, the federally funded Summer Feeding program is provided each year in high poverty areas to ensure area children have access to a proper nutrition while school is not in session. Meals also are available for adults, who may purchase breakfast for $2 and lunch for $3. The program will run on weekdays from June 1-July 30 (but will be closed on July 5). Parents and students should contact individual sites for serving times.

Camp will be held for six weeks as follows:

  • June 8 - 12
  • June 15 - 19
  • June 22 - 26
  • July 6 - 10
  • July 13 - 17
  • July 20 - 24

There will be no camp during the week of June 29 - July 3, 2015.
