Murfreesboro Police answered a serious personal injury accident at 8:00 o'clock Thursday night on Wilkinson Pike near Van Cleve Lane. Police told NewsRadio WGNS that this was a vehicle vs tree crash.

The narrow, dark, two-lane roadway that's lined with large trees and no street lines made it difficult for police to keep the traffic flowing while paramedics stabalized the victim. One side of the roadway has the Stones River National Battlefield, and the other side has homes that are a significant distance from the road.
