The first and only boys coach at Wilson Central High School has been tabbed the new head coach at Oakland. Troy Bond will take over for Mike Wright, who resigned in March after six-season.

While at Wilson Central, in his 14-years, Bond went 269-152. His teams have been to the state tournament four times and he's 4-and-oh in sectional games.
