A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Friday into Saturday morning for Rutherford County.

Rain will transition to freezing rain and sleet during the morning hours Friday. That will be followed by a transition to snow late morning or early afternoon.

Ice accumulations of one to two-tenths of an inch is expected along with one-to-two inches of snow.
