Wish From Stones River Manor Residents Granted!

It was appropriate that Thursday (5/3/2018) was "The National Day of Prayer", because this community received a real blessing. At 4:00 o'clock that afternoon, Stones River Manor opened a new page in their history of service to the community. The county's first memory care services were dramatically expanded. Plus, the massive complex now includes everything from independent through advanced care.

A few years ago the board of directors decided to survey the residents and learn what they wanted most. Chief Executive Officer Kirk Mason explained . . .

As of Thursday, that wish is now a reality!

Family Services Director Mike Gann gave details of the expansion . . .

Stones River Manor opened its doors in 1977 as Murfreesboro's first home for the elderly. Later it became the county's first licensed assisted living facility. At that time, the Manor had only 29 rooms.

It is a Christian not-for-profit SENIOR LIVING COMMUNITY, and the only faith-based non-profit home for the elderly in Rutherford County.
