An acquaintance of a woman stole a purse and a bottle of pain-killers on Wednesday evening in Murfreesboro. The victim told officers that the suspect entered her apartment to supposedly give her a ride. When the female turned her back on the man, he grabbed her purse and attempted to run. Of course, the man did not anticipate the victim running after him.

Once in the parking lot, a short struggle ensued and the man ended up running away after allegedly hitting the woman in the chest and the arm. The only problem is, he ran away with the pills and her wallet. Minutes later he returned, hopped in his car and sped away.

So far, the subject who goes by the name of “John,” has not been caught.
