Police are in the process of developing a suspect in a recent burglary case that occurred in Murfreesboro  at the YMCA. You may recall the story we reported several weeks ago involving a man who went to work out at the local gym and while exercising, had his car keys stolen from his pants pocket that were left in the locker room. The thief grabbed the keys and headed to the parking lot pressing the key fob in search of the victims car. He found the car, opened the trunk and grabbed the purse of the victims wife who was also exercising.

From the “Y” the subject headed to the Target store where he went on a spending spree. The unknown culprit (pictured at WGNSradio.com), was caught on a surveillance video tape at Target, but his identity is still not known.

If you recognize the man, please contact the Criminal Investigations Division at 893-2717 or Crimestoppers at 893-STOP(7867).
