Lot’s of people are in need in this day and time, but that does not make it legal to steal items for your baby. A 25-year old mother of a 2-month old was arrested after allegedly filling her baby stroller up with over $550 in baby clothing and $100 in jewelry at the Kohl’s Department Store. The woman was caught and actually admitted to the theft, according to a report filed by a Murfreesboro Police Officer.

The woman was charged with theft and was taken to the local jail. Her 2-month old was turned over to the custody of the child’s father and the Department of Children Services were notified.

Because the young child was involved in the incident and DCS was notified, WGNS is not releasing the name of the mother to protect the identity of the baby.
