MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WGNS News UPDATE) - A two-vehicle crash in a residential area of downtown Murfreesboro drew police and paramedics to the scene Wednesday morning. The collision occurred in the 500 blck of North Spring Street at East Chestnut Street. Murfreesboro Police were reportedly called to the crash at around 9 a.m.
Paramedics also responded, but fortunately, no serious injuries were reported in connection with the collision. While the wreck may have looked concerning to passing motorists, the outcome was considerably less severe than appearances initially suggested.
The crash caused only a slight delay for motorists traveling through the downtown area during the Wednesday morning commute. Additional details surrounding what led to the collision were not immediately available.
