.40 Handgun Stolen in Murfreesboro

A contractor in Murfreesboro reported that his .40 caliber handgun was stolen while he was at a job site.

Police wrote in a report that the gun was left unattended in an unlocked vehicle. The truck was parked in the 200 block of Thompson Lane when the theft occurred.

A narrative of the case confirmed the gun was a Springfield XD-40 (Pictured above).

The gun was entered into the National Crime and Information Center database. At this point, it has not turned up and no suspects have been named.
