If you’re a fan of the grocery outlet Trader Joes, then you may want to sign a petition to bring one of the chain’s stores to Murfreesboro.  You can join by “liking” the Facebook group Bring Trader Joes to Murfreesboro TN, founded by local resident Kim Bailey in July of 2011.  Bailey explains what makes Trader Joes so special…

Bailey says that although Trader Joes does not actually participate in any form of social media, the company will usually acknowledge efforts by a town to recruit one of their stores once the effort receives support from at least 2,000 individuals.  Bailey’s group now sits at 3,000, and has still received no form of communication from Trader Joe’s.  Currently, there is only one Trader Joes location in Tennessee, on Hillsboro Pike in Nashville.
