Officer Frazier was a well liked officer in the community of Mt. Juliet.

She was originally from Clinton, Tennessee where she played high school basketball for Oak Ridge High School. She first became a police officer for the Clinton Police Department.

Clinton Police Chief Rick Scarbrough issued the following statement: "In Brittany's time here, she was always a bright light. When she first came here, she volunteered to work the Remote Area Medical (RAM) event. The following week, I received numerous phone calls and comments on how helpful she had been. Unfortunately, she was soon hired away by Murfreesboro Police Department. She grew up here from a great family. Our prayers and thoughts will be with them!"

In Mt. Juliet where she most recently served, Lt. Tyler Chandler stated: "Brittany was a caring and outgoing woman, who was dedicated to serving the Mt. Juliet community, and her presence always brightened any room she walked into. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, and we will ensure they receive whatever support is needed," stated Police Chief James Hambrick. "While our department family is hurting at the loss of Brittany, we are extremely grateful for the support we have received from our community, faith leaders, law enforcement partners, and local businesses. She was well-loved by all of us."

Again, Officer Frazier died on September 9, 2017. She was only 33 years old. She was laid to rest this past weekend on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens.
