233,000 Total Square Feet

The clock is ticking as February 11th nears and the newest section of Murfreesboro Medical Clinic and Surgi-Center (MMC) at 1272 Garrison Drive will be open to the public. 

MMC has finished decorating and is in the process of completing the furnishing. However, the remaining physicians at the Highland Avenue facility will not make the transition until the weekend prior to the opening day. Rich dark woods, art deco lighting, and an elegant three-story open atrium (see photo above) create a feeling of confidence, comfort and peace. 

Community In Awe

On Tuesday evening (1/29/2013), CEO Joey Peay and his staff hosted the Chamber of Commerce' Business After Hours (see photo below). This event gave local leaders an opportunity to tour the additional 155,000 square feet of state of the art medical facility that has been a part of this community for over 64-years. 

Peay noted, “The new and expanded facility will provide a better working environment for MMC’s physicians, but more importantly, it will allow those physicians to better serve the needs of their patients and our growing community in a new, state-of-the-art facility.”

It connects to the existing 78,000 square feet facility, which opened in 2008. On the side of the newest structure is a conspicuously large MMC logo to serve as a beacon for the community. It stands out boldly in the neighborhood, proudly announcing the presence of the largest multi-specialty clinic in the region.
