Murfreesboro #13 of "The 15 Fastest Growing Cities In USA"

The lifestyle, opportunities and friendly people seem to be attracting more people to Murfreesboro. Data just released from the U.S. Census shows that the Heart of Tennessee is now number thirteen of the fifteen fastest growing cities in the entire United States. It is also the only Volunteer State city to make it into the top fifteen.

The 'Boro's population is estimated to be around 126-thousand. That's a 4.4 percent growth rate in the past year alone.

The fastest growing city on the list was Georgetown, Texas. In fact the Lone Star State dominated the list with a third of the group (5 cities). There were two states that each had two growth cities: Arizona and California.
