Summer time thunderstorms and pesky critters can sometimes be a problem for electric power crews.
Amy Byers with Murfreesboro Electric tells NewsRadio WGNS while they work really hard to keep the power on:
Byers says when it happens on the weekend, on-call crews have to be mobilized, which takes some extra time. But she says every effort is made to get the power back on as soon and they work to keep things like tree limbs from interrupting power.
