For a 6th time a Murfreesboro man has been charged with "Driving on a Revoked License."

Brian Lee Prater was pulled over in the area of Rutherford Boulevard and South East Broad Street for having a non-functioning brake light. During the stop, police say at first Prater identified himself as Keith instead of Brian. Police evidently grew suspicious when he told them he did not know his social security number.

Eventually, Prater was positively identified as "Brian" and not "Keith." It was then confirmed that he had five prior driving on a revoked license charges due to a past DUI.

By the time Prater got to jail, he was served warrants for Aggravated Assault, Theft and Violation of Probation, in addition to the driving on a revoked charge for the 6th time.

Prater is due in court on July 19, 2018.
