The New Year roared-in with flames destroying a home a home at 2523 English Hill Drive. Captain Brian Lowe told WGNS News that the call came into Murfreesboro Fire and Rescue at 2:20 Tuesday morning.

Units from Pitts Lane fire hall were the first on-the-scene, and reported that the structure was fully engulfed in flames. Fortunately, no one was at home and there were no injuries. The home is just off DeJarnette Lane, near John Pittard Elementary School.

Units cleared the command and headed back to area fire halls almost three-hours later at 5:02 New Year's morning.
