Murfreesboro Police Officers Bryant Smith and Christopher Phillips conducted a home-check of a man who was on parole and was believed to have stolen property at his residence.  Reports indicate the male was acting nervous and admitted to having weapons in his closet. A High Point 45 and 44 Magnum were found, both had been fired, and there also 100 rounds of ammo was uncovered.  Officers Smith and Phillips got this two-time convicted felon off the streets and presented the evidence to the ATF for federal prosecution.
