As the temperature heats up in Murfreesboro, so do the road rage incidents.

On Monday (3/20/17) around noon, a 41-year-old man driving down Middle Tennessee Blvd. was the target of road rage when another driver assumed that he was purposely cut-off. When the incident occurred, the victim witnessed the man in the other car hold up a pistol and rack a round into the chamber.

The victim in the case drove away, but the subject decided to follow him. A police report documenting the incident shows, "The man pulled up alongside him and pointed a handgun at him." After the gun was actually pointed at the victim, he drove away. However, when police looked for the armed road rage culprit, they could not find him. No arrest was made.
