Second Time... Sex Offender Caught Messing With His GPS Tracking Device

For the second time in less than a week, a convicted sex offender has been arrested after allegedly tampering with their GPS monitoring device in Murfreesboro. This time, 43-year old Walter P. Faulkner was apprehended on Thursday a Thorton's gas station on Old Fort Parkway. He somehow turned off his GPS unit, according to an arrest report. Faulkner was arrested and placed under a $2,000 bond. He was charged with "Tampering with a GPS" and "Violation of Probation." 

Faulkner was convicted in 2001 for sexual battery. His address is listed as homeless.
