6:25 A.M. - Official Report from Rutherford County Sheriff's Office

Inmates are clearing debris and trees left from the storm Wednesday morning in Eagleville where several houses were damaged, said Sheriff Robert Arnold.

The storm damaged the home of Eagleville Mayor Sam Tune on Allisona Road, another occupied home on North Main Street and a home on Elm Street. No one suffered injuries.

Sheriff’s deputies, volunteer firefighters and Emergency Management Agency representatives responded.

The storm downed trees all over the county, including several trees on Powell’s Chapel Road.

Sheriff Arnold said the Detention Center inmates will clear trees in Eagleville, then move to other locations in the county to remove the trees and debris.

Strong storms and tornado warnings were Mother Nature's early morning wake-up call. There are widespread reports of trees and powerlines down across the county. Some locations include:

Powell's Chapel Road
Dixie Lane
Elm Street
County Farm Road
Joe B. Jackson Parkway
Old Salem Highway

There is also a report of a horse farm in Eagleville, with a roof blown off and many trees down. Over 1-thousand are without power in the Smyrna area, near the airport. Also, about the same number just south of Murfreesboro in the area of Southeast Broad, Manchester Pike and Bradyville Pike.

In Nashville, there was one person killed in Bordeaux when a tree fell on the shed they were seeking shelter in during the overnight storms.

If the severe weather wasn't bad enough, there is a chance of snow in the forecast by the end of the week. Only in Tennessee, right!

Tree down on Cranor Rd.

There is wind structural damage to a home at 2135 Alisona Road in Rutherford County.  Damage to rear section of home.

One home on Volunteer Road had wind damage and now had water leaking inside of structure.

Power is out in area of South Church St. and Warrior Drive (out for several hours around 5 AM)

Outside of Rutherford County:

1-person killed in Bordeaux, TN near Nashville after a tree fell on the small backyard structure in which they were staying.
