Have you ever been to the beach… IN MURFREESBORO? For most people, the answer to that would be “NO.” Thomas Laird with the Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation Department explains that a beach party has quietly been held in the ‘Boro for the past 9-years. This upcoming party at Barfield Park will mark the 10^th year for the event to be held.

The big beach party is on May 10th at 5pm. Laird told us that kids love it and parents have a chance to kick back and relax, if they remember to bring their lawn chair and cooler.
